Erlanger Health System will be the presenting sponsor for the Wednesday Market in Collegedale. The Collegedale Market is held each Wednesday from 4-7 p.

m. at The Commons, offering fresh farm foods, artisan foods as well as arts and crafts.

Christine Gordon, marketing brand manager at Erlanger, said, "Erlanger East Hospital and Erlanger Health System are proud to sponsor the Collegedale Market. Supporting local businesses, artists and farms while promoting a healthy lifestyle are important objectives to Erlanger. The Chattanooga Market and Erlanger East Hospital's partnership brings accessibility to both artisan goods and locally grown foods as well as healthcare and education."

Organized by Public Markets—known best for the downtown Chattanooga Market—the Collegedale Market promises to be a midweek opportunity for East Hamilton County area residents to access fresh foods and join in future community events, it was stated. The Collegedale Market will be year round with the expectation of adding days of the week as the Market builds. And Erlanger will be a partner in growing this Market, a collaborative effort showing commitment to the awareness and availability of healthy food choices, it was stated.

The multi-use facility is currently under construction, with Phase 1 (entrance and shade market) of the facility having already been completed. The Wednesday Market will take place on the expansive grounds while the new 10,000 square foot pavilion is under construction. Expected to be complete by late summer/early fall, the new facility will be covered and temperature controlled. A full calendar of events is expected at The Commons, offering family friendly outings like movie nights, food festivals, live music festivals and more.
